Job Title: Endoscopy Technician Profession: Endoscopy Tech Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid certifications required Certifications: Required Must-Have: Endoscopy experience Description: This position is for a contract Endoscopy Technician for a duration of 13 weeks. The technician will work the day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. On-call requirements include 1-2 days per week, with no weekends or call on weekends. The unit has 2 procedure rooms and staff consists of 2 registered nurses and 3 technicians. Patient ratios are 1:1. The type of equipment used includes GI equipment and scopes. Familiarity with EMR systems is expected. Typical procedures performed include EGD, colonoscopy, GI bleeds, and ERCP. Candidates must possess relevant endoscopy experience to be considered for the role. Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations are essential.
