What if part of your week as a physical therapist wasn't spent working in a traditional clinical setting?
In this unique role at Spooner, you'll practice in two very different environments: as part of an outpatient orthopedic team in a Spooner clinic and onsite with a local employer, where you'll become a trusted movement expert for an entire workforce.
At the employer site, you're embedded in the environment where people actually work. You'll have the opportunity to understand the physical demands of their jobs, identify musculoskeletal concerns early, help employees address issues before they become bigger problems, and build relationships across the organization.
Then you'll bring that experience back to the clinic, where you'll continue treating a diverse orthopedic patient population alongside an experienced team of physical therapists.
It's an opportunity to expand what your career as a physical therapist can look like.
You'll become a trusted musculoskeletal resource for employees and organizational leaders.
You'll:
This is proactive musculoskeletal care—meeting people where they are and helping them stay healthy, active, and productive.
You'll continue developing as an orthopedic physical therapist while working alongside a collaborative clinical team.
You'll:
This role is for a physical therapist who wants more variety, more autonomy, and more opportunities to build meaningful relationships.
One day, you may be treating a patient in the clinic. The next, you may be walking through a worksite with an employee, evaluating how their job affects their movement, helping someone address discomfort before it becomes an injury, or talking with organizational leaders about opportunities to improve workforce health.
You're not simply practicing in two locations.
You're expanding where, and how, your skills can make an impact.
What We're Looking For Experience in occupational health or employer-based care is a plus, but not required.
At Spooner, our treatment philosophy is centered on delivering an engaging experience for every patient in mind, body, and spirit.
You'll join an organization committed to helping physical therapists continue learning, developing, and finding new ways to elevate the value of our profession.
You'll have access to:
Become the trusted movement expert for a clinic, a workforce, and the people who rely on you to keep moving.
