Location: Yonkers / Northern New York City Area (Remote/Home-Based with travel to clinics)

Employment Type: Contract or Contract-to-Hire

Travel: Approximately 1–2 days per week within a 50-mile radius

Candidates must have a reliable form of transportation and valid drivers license.

Position Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused Field Support Analyst to provide hands-on hardware and technical support for radiologists and medical professionals across hospitals, clinics, and home-based work environments throughout Westchester, Northern New York City, and Manhattan.

This is a field-based, customer-facing role focused primarily on computer hardware, imaging, device installation, and equipment setup. The ideal candidate combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with exceptional customer service and a professional, patient approach when supporting busy healthcare professionals.

This position is home-based, as there is no dedicated office in the area. Candidates located in Westchester, Yonkers, or Northern NYC are strongly preferred to support the territory effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, hardware-level technical support for computer systems and imaging-related devices.
• Install, image, configure, and deploy computer equipment and Windows-based devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform basic equipment setup, replacement, and maintenance.
• Deliver high-touch, white-glove technical support to radiologists, physicians, and other medical professionals.
• Travel to hospitals, clinics, and home offices to provide on-site technical assistance.
• Ensure equipment is properly installed, configured, and functioning reliably to minimize disruptions to end users.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, providing a positive support experience from start to finish.
• Assist with Windows device management and deployment processes as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills: Demonstrated ability to provide patient, professional, high-quality support to customers, executives, or other end users.
• Hands-on hardware support experience: Experience troubleshooting computer hardware, setting up devices, replacing components, and resolving equipment issues.
• Computer imaging and deployment experience: Familiarity with imaging, installing, configuring, or deploying Windows-based computers and devices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to work effectively with customers who may have limited technical knowledge or time-sensitive needs.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel: Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory, generally within a 50-mile radius.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and other Microsoft technologies.
• Basic exposure to Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, or endpoint device management tools.
• Previous experience in field services, desktop support, IT service providers (MSPs), retail technical support, or education IT.
• Healthcare IT experience is a plus but is not required.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is technically capable, dependable, and service-oriented, with a strong emphasis on customer experience. They should be comfortable working independently in the field, traveling to different customer locations, and providing hands-on technical assistance in professional environments.

Candidates from a variety of backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including managed service providers, K–12 or higher education IT, financial services, retail technology support, and corporate desktop support.

Healthcare experience is not required. We value candidates who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, professionalism, patience, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Additional Details

• Home-based position serving Westchester, Northern NYC, and Manhattan.
• Travel is expected approximately once per week on average, occasionally twice per week, depending on support needs.
• Mileage and travel time are paid in accordance with the applicable program guidelines.
• Contract or contract-to-hire arrangement, with the engagement structure and duration to be confirmed.
